• Niacinamide: Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that may help improve the signs of aging and hyperpigmentation due to its potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.² 

• Hyaluronic acid: This ingredient is a humectant that helps hydrate the skin by binding to water molecules to help retain moisture.³

• Peptides: According to research, peptide complex is effective as an anti-wrinkle cosmetic ingredient.⁴

• Shea butter: Shea butter is an intensely hydrating natural moisturizer with potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.⁵

• Babassu: Babassu oil is extracted from the seeds of the babassu palm. Research shows that it may have topical anti-inflammatory properties.⁶

• Cupuaçu: This ingredient comes from the fruit of a tropical tree, and it can be eaten or used in cosmetics. Cupuaçu butter is an excellent emollient that may restore elasticity to the skin while providing antioxidants and hydration.⁷

• Marula oil: This generally non-irritating oil is a popular skincare ingredient due to its potential hydrating, moisturizing, and occlusive properties, which may make it beneficial for anti-aging.⁸

• Squalane: Squalane oil is odorless and may be antibacterial and non-comedogenic (meaning it doesn’t clog your pores). It’s a popular oil in many skincare products.⁹

• Açaí: The açaí berry is harvested from the açaí palm. It may have antioxidant properties that help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation.¹⁰

Products by Rhode Skin 

Hailey Bieber’s skincare brand creates products that are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and developed and tested by dermatologists (as are Curology’s products). The packaging is made with upcycled post-consumer (PCR) materials. 

Peptide Glazing Fluid

This brand’s all about the dewy look, and this product is Hailey Bieber’s secret weapon to “glazed donut” skin. This gel serum is lightweight, plumping, and hydrating. It’s said to support skin-barrier function and illuminates the skin for a luminous finish. It contains hyaluronic acid, marula oil, peptides, and niacinamide. Rhode Skin recommends applying one to two pumps of this product after cleansing and before applying the Barrier Restore Cream in the morning or evening. It’s suitable for all skin types. 

Barrier Restore Cream

Choosing the right product can aid in your skin’s barrier repair,¹¹ and Rhode Skin’s Barrier Restore Cream is all about recovery. This soothing moisturizer is deeply hydrating yet lightweight, so it’s ideal for nourishing your skin barrier. Described as an “antioxidant peptide powerhouse,” it’s said to soften and hydrate the skin. Formulated with ingredients like shea butter, squalane, peptides, and niacinamide, it’s excellent for dull, dry skin and suitable for all skin types. Rhode Skin recommends using it after cleansing and applying the Peptide Glazing Fluid, morning or evening (or both). 

Peptide Lip Treatment

This restorative lip product promises glossy, pillow-soft lips. It may also help nourish dry skin and lock in moisture. It contains shea butter, peptides, babassu, and cupuaçu, and it’s recommended for all skin types. To use it as a lip mask, apply a thick layer and let it sit for 10 minutes before wiping it off. It’s available in unscented, watermelon, and salted caramel formulas.
